Members elect sector leaders and their assistants, taking an important step in the network’s development.
SBPN held its first internal elections for sector leaders and their assistants from 18 to 21 May 2025, with participation from members in Syria and the wider professional diaspora.
The network described the process as an important step towards professional representation and shared participation in its development. The elections established specialist leadership to help coordinate the work of the network’s sectors.
Following the vote, SBPN outlined plans for coordination, handover of responsibilities and alignment of priorities. This milestone helped turn a growing professional community into a more structured platform for collaborative action.
