Syrian professionals come together in Birmingham to establish a network built on collaboration and purpose.
On 22 February 2025, Syrian professionals gathered at Newman University in Birmingham for SBPN’s founding meeting. The event created an opportunity to connect, share professional experience and shape the network’s direction.
Participants discussed the organisation’s structure, membership approach, vision and values. The founding committee shared progress on governance and communication, while attendees explored how their expertise could contribute to the network’s goals.
The meeting placed collaboration and knowledge-sharing at the centre of SBPN’s work. It marked the start of a shared effort to connect Syrian professional experience with opportunities for development and reconstruction.
